Where do I begin about Caliber?! This girl is happy to do anything asked of her and she really likes to do it in style. Caliber finished her Championship in 7 weekends, at a young 18 months old during COVID when shows were much larger and more competitive than normal. I was tied up handling client dogs, and wasn’t able to get her out to compete right away for her Grand Championship but I did squeeze in a few shows and I’m happy to report she is more than half way done with her Grand. I’ll get her back out to finish that up after her litter of puppies.

Caliber’s absolute favorite thing in the world is dock diving. We had to wait for Caliber to turn 6 months old before she could compete in dock diving events. Well, at six months old she jumped her way straight to a Dock Senior title, flying right past Dock Novice and Dock Junior titles. Now she happily volunteers to train client dogs for me….and she does!

What I love most about Caliber is she has an “Off” switch. While she lives to race around the backyard retrieving balls or wrestle around with our other dogs, she is equally happy to snuggle up in my lap and watch a movie. She is the best of both worlds!
